As a musical prelude to Black Dyke's appearance at the RNCM Brass Band Festival in Manchester on Friday evening (29th), there will be a chance to hear some of the most talented young euphonium and baritone performers from the college in action.
40 minute concert
The Euphonium & Baritone Ensemble from the RNCM will perform a 40 minute concert programme in the Carole Nash Recital Hall starting at 6.30pm, conducted by tutors Prof Steven Mead and Dr David Thornton.
Players from the ensemble currently perform with several of the country's leading bands, including Grimethorpe, Brighouse & Rastrick, Wingates and Black Dyke.
