Brighouse announce Eccles flugel signing

Brighouse & Rastrick announce the signing of former Fairey flugel star Mike Eccles.

Brighouse & Rastrick has announced the signing of Mike Eccles on flugel horn with immediate effect.

He joins after a highly successful tenure at Fairey (above), and sees the two heavyweight bands swap flugel stars following Lucy Cutt's departure from the West Riding band to their Stockport rivals in the last few weeks.

Thrilled

Mike told 4BR: "I'm thrilled to have been asked to join Brighouse & Rastrick, and I'm looking forward to working with Prof David King again. The band has made me feel very welcome and I'm sure I will enjoy an exciting and successful time here."

He added: "I would like to thank Fairey's for 11 great years and I hope to maintain links with them through Acid Brass."
