Prize fund boost for Morley March & Hymn Tune Contest

There will be a 20% increase in the prize money up for grabs at the Morley March & Hymn Tune contest this year.

The organisers of the popular Morley March & Hymn Tune Contest have informed 4BR that to celebrate the event's 10th anniversary this year, there is a 20% in prize money.

Substantial increase

Contest Controller Geoff Fowler said: "We are pleased to announce such a substantial increase which will be split across all sections with the top prize now standing at £600."
