Raw Brass service fans from both sides of Atlantic

County Instruments, makers of the Raw Brass flugel horn has been making fans on both sides of the Atlantic with its customer service.

Raw Brass Instruments have certainly been making an impact of late on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.

Skegness

The company just returned from a successful trading weekend at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship in Skegness to find a wonderful letter from Jack Deal from the USA and Master of Ceremonies for the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Brass Band Festival.

Jack had inadvertently damaged his Ray Farr Raw Brass flugel horn (above) just before Christmas and had immediately posted it back to the UK for the experts at County Instruments to repair it as part of their worldwide package of care.

Hope

Jack was hoping to play the instrument on a few concerts over the New Year period but felt there was little hope of him getting it back in time due to the Christmas rush.

However, County Instruments lived up to their reputation for outstanding customer service and repaired the instrument and managed to get it flown back to the US before New Year's Day — a remarkable turn round.

we always live up to our reputation for superb customer service so the extra hours of work were well worth it when we receive such a lovely letter of thanks back in returndesigner, Chris Waters

Fantastic

Jack's e-mail summed his feeling up perfectly.

"I love this horn,"he wrote. "It blows so freely free and beautifully. Consequently, I was horrified when it got damaged! To see it back home I such quick time was fantastic!"

In response instrument designer Chris Waters added: "There were times when I really didn't think completion of the repair by our workshop would leave sufficient time to get it to the airport

However, we always live up to our reputation for superb customer service so the extra hours of work were well worth it when we receive such a lovely letter of thanks back in return."
