Adjudicators to lead Regional test piece workshop

The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators will lead a Regional Test Piece workshop in Bailiff Bridge next month — and its open to everyone!

The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators (AoBBA) will host their 2016 Regional Test Piece Workshop next month.

Time and place

The event, featuring Unite the Union Band, will be held at Bailiff Bridge Community Centre, 1 Victoria Road, Bailiff Bridge, Brighouse (HD6 4DX) on Sunday 14th February, and aims to provide extensive insight into the works that will challenge the competitors in Sections Two, Three and Four.

Exploring

It starts promptly at 12 noon, and is open to all band members, conductors and interested parties for The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators (AoBBA) will host their 2016 Regional Test Piece Workshop next month.

It starts promptly at 12 noon, and is open to all band members, conductors and interested parties for what will be an interesting, insightful day, with ample opportunity to discuss the various works in detail as well as exploring aspects of their contest preparation.

Presenters

The presenters are well known conductors and judges, John Roberts (Second Section), David Hirst (Third Section) and Nick Garman (Fourth Section), whilst Simone Rebello will also be on hand to give advice on percussion requirements and relevant percussion performance practice.
