Welsh top flight outfit Burry Port Town has announced the return of Christopher Jenkins to the role of principal cornet.
Break
Christopher enjoyed a family break from banding following the birth of his second child, but with all those duties now under control, the time was right to return to the 'end chair' at the Welsh Open champion.
Pleased
Band Chairperson Sarah Jones told 4BR: "We are very pleased that Christopher has chosen to return in time for the start of the 2016 contesting season.
He played an integral role in our 2014 Welsh Area qualification to the Royal Albert Hall and will once again provide the band with a significant boost as we aim to repeat the feat in Swansea in March."

Title defence
Before then he will make his contest return as the band defends its Welsh Open Championship title at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl in February.
