Prima Vista Musikk launches first Grimethorpe CD release

British Open champion brings their unique brand of musicianship to a premiere release on the Prima Vista Musikk label.

Prima Vista Musikk has launched its first catalogue CD release with Grimethorpe Colliery Band.

Entitled 'Grimethorpe Entertain' it sees the British Open champion showcase it renowned brand of musicianship under the baton of MD, Dr Robert Childs.

Included in the release which features a fantastic mix of exciting new repertoire, brass bands classics and music from their title winning Brass in Concert programme, are solos from Michael Dodd, Chris Gomersall, Kevin Crockford and Michael Cavanagh.

There are works by renowned composers such as Sir Karl Jenkins as well as up and coming talents such as Christopher Bond and Daniel Hall in what is a fantastic display of world class brass band playing.
