Tullis Russell Mills has announced that MD Paul Drury will leave the Scottish band's organisation after their forthcoming Gala Concert in the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes on the 18th December.
Paul joined the Second Section band in 2012, leading them during a period of unprecedented success
Huge wrench
Paul (above) told 4BR: "It's a huge wrench to leave after three fantastic years. There have been many highlights but perhaps the happiest was when we won the Scottish Second Section title and earned the opportunity to play at the 2014 European Championship.
These are truly amazing memories. I wish the Tullis Russell organisation every success in the future and will look back on my time with them with exceptional fondness."

Three great years
A band spokesperson replied "We have enjoyed three great years together and we will be sorry to see Paul depart.
We wish him every success for the future, but brass bands are dynamic organisations and changes happen all the time. Tullis will now invite applications for the position of MD."
