It has been very busy recently for the Ebury Brass musicians who come from the Household Division, with participation in events as diverse as the National Championship Finals at the Royal Albert Hall to the Chinese Premier's recent State visit.
State visit
That visit of Xi Jinping meant that the ensemble had to find extra rehearsal time just after the crack of dawn, as well as having to fit in preparation for their recent 'Spanish Fever!' concert held at the famous Guards Chapel.
Players from the ensemble also played with a number of bands at the recent National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall.
Magnificent
A Household Division spokesperson told 4BR: "It's an absolute honour and privilege to work alongside such a magnificent group of professional, dedicated and exceptional brass players and percussionists in Ebury Brass.
To perform at the level they do, after minimal sleep, after hard days in their own respective practice rooms or on public duty is simply astonishing. They are all a credit to their individual bands and the Corps of Army Music."
Drive
Ebury Brass was formed from the five Foot Guards Bands in London as an ensemble of excellence, to assist the Corps of Army Music's recruitment drive and to enhance and stabilise retention of musician personnel.
You can now follow the group on Facebook: Ebury Brass.
