Cory Band's outstanding victory at last weekend's National Brass Band Championships Final at the Royal Albert Hall ensured that it will be top of the World of Brass — 4barsrest.com Rankings for a remarkable ninth successive year in 2015 — a run stretching back to 2007. The victory rounds off yet another remarkable year of success for the Welsh, with four out of the five UK National titles going to the Principality.
Also flying high this time are Camborne Town, up 25 places after an excellent sixth place in London, and Zone One Brass, which climbs to an all-time high position of 31 following its seventh-placed finish.

The next update will follow the Brass in Concert Championship in November, which will also the results of some of the continental national championships taking place as the battle for slots in next year's European Championships heats up.
