New market leading mallets with the professional touch from Centre Stage Percussion

Centre Stage Percussion has launched a fantastic new range of timpani mallets — brilliantly priced to give you the ultimate professional touch.

Centre Stage perc mallets

A brand new range of seven different sets of professional timpani mallets are being launched by Centre Stage Percussion.

Developed

Developed in conjunction with Graham King, Principal Timpanist at The Royal Ballet Symphonia in London, they are designed to become the leading mass market mallets, whilst also giving wide ranging professional appeal.

The mallets have been constructed on A grade 11mm bamboo shafts, with each set perfectly matched for flex, weight, construction, diameter and colour.

Range

Ranging from solid hardwood heads through to medium soft flannel, the entire range perfectly serves their purpose — from heavy staccato to light playing.

The flannel heads have been constructed using top grade flannel discs in varying diameters to give a strike of resounding quality.

Meanwhile, all important balance has been finely honed — making each mallet the perfect tool for the job, whilst each set comes with black silicone grips to give the finishing touch to a superb range.

Everything

Centre Stage Product Manager and Black Dyke Timpanist, Neil Edwards, has been putting the full range through its paces and told 4BR: "This range has everything a serious timpanist could and would expect.

They have exceptional strike and consistent head contact, giving maximum power with minimum effort thanks to the superb balanced action and great shaft construction.

The two toned coloured thread finish on each model also makes for easy identification on the traps tray."

Totally responsive

Neil added: "The entire range is totally responsive — not only at loud dynamic levels, but just as importantly is crystal clear with lower dynamics.

The flannel head discs are such a good innovation in mallet production. They differ from felt in that the contact is much clearer and pronounced, and they perform incredibly well on plastic and renaissance heads, but sound simply amazing on professional calf head timps."

If you are buying the whole series, then the price is just £250, giving a £65 saving! Centre Stage Percussion

Fantastic special offer

The mallets are very reasonably priced too, as you would expect from Centre Stage. Each pair is just £45. Similar mallets on the market range between £100 and £140 per pair.

Not content at just having a great product at a great price, Centre Stage MD Martin Gernon wants to offer more, as he told 4BR: "To celebrate the launch of this incredible mallets range, we have a special introductory offer.

The mallets are £45 per pair, giving a total of £315 for all seven pairs in the series.

Great saving

If you are buying the whole series, then the price is just £250, giving a £65 saving!

The range will be launched on 15th November, but we are taking pre-orders and reserving stock for customers, on what we are confident will become the best selling range of timpani mallets in the UK."
