The Cornwall Brass Band Association held its 60th anniversary Diamond Jubilee Championships at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro on the weekend.
There was a fine selection of music from Junior and Training bands through to Championship Section, with adjudicator John Berryman certainly enjoying himself.
Long Service Award
A Long Service Award was also made to Fred Angove of Bodmin Band in recognition of over 70 years dedication to banding in Cornwall. A second award was presented to John Berryman in recognition of his lifelong dedication to banding — which started at the Championship in 1955.
