Thanks to everyone (and we had entries in the hundreds from all over the banding world) who took time to enter our National Finals 'Symphony Cornet' competition.

Pre-results votes

As you can imagine there were plenty of pre-results votes (and quite a few that came in after and had to be filtered out!) for the eventual winner Cory conducted by Philip Harper.

It therefore took a little while to get them all put in the electronic hat to eventually pick out the lucky winner who will get their hands on a superb Geneva 'Symphony' cornet (above).

Michael was delighted when we managed to pass on the news and he will be donating the cornet to his band Bearpark & Esh.
