Exciting weekend

Robbert told 4BR: "After contact was made with St David's Brass, I'm delighted to be able to work with the band and players for what promises to be an exciting weekend of music making.

The band has been developing well in the last few years and I hope I can help with them and others further during the workshop."

Come along

He added: "I always enjoy coming to Scotland because there is a very special atmosphere. It would be great to see as many faces as possible at the workshop sessions. I look forward to seeing everyone there."

Robbert is the acclaimed solo euphonium player of Brass Band Schoonhoven, as well as with the Royal Netherlands Navy Marine Band.

As a guest soloist he has performed with many leading brass bands and professional ensembles, whilst he is also an accomplished conductor — winning the Second Section of the Dutch National Brass Band Championships with Brass Band Schoonhoven B in 2013.
