The Foden's Band has extended its closing date for percussion entries for its forthcoming Solo & Ensemble contest, which takes place on 31st October at Sandbach Boys School

Extension

Band Manager Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "As in previous years we are extremely pleased with the interest shown in the event, with over 120 entries across the various sections and with competitors travelling from as far as Belgium and Holland."

Percussion entries

Mark added: "We would like more percussion entries though so we are extending the closing date (for percussion only) to the 27th October.

There are a variety of percussion sections so we are sure there is something to attract players both young and old."
