Poulton's new faces for Greek assault in Bolsover

Poulton le Fylde Band has added extra faces to the ranks ahead of their Greek inspired musical assault at Bolsover this weekend.

The Poulton le Fylde Band has announced the signing of a number of new players ahead of their performance at the Bolsover Contest this weekend.

The band has certainly gained a reputation for musical innovation under MD Dave Collins — with a brand new Greek mythology programme to be premiered at the entertainment event.

New signings

The new signing included Andy Ellis on bass trombone, Lizzie Kirk on principal percussion and talented youngsters Arthur Elletson, a member of the National Children's Band of Great Britain, on cornet, and Henry Thompson on solo baritone. Henry will be a featured soloist in the band's newly commissioned programme entitled, 'Theogony: Creation & Destruction'
