Baker to lead Doctor's orders with Thoresby

Thoresby Colliery will be led by Leigh Baker at the forthcoming Dr Martin Wainstone's Cup contest.

Thoresby Band has announced that Leigh Baker will lead their challenge at the forthcoming Dr Martin Wainstone's Cup Contest on September 13th.

Expertise

A Band spokesperson told 4BR: "We have worked with Leigh on several occasions and thoroughly enjoy the expertise, motivation and humour he brings to his conducting."

Hardworking

The Carlton Main and South Yorkshire Police conductor added: "It's great to be working with Thoresby again. They are a hardworking band, dedicated and committed to what they want to achieve.

I always enjoy teaming up with them and hopefully it will prove successful at the contest."

Leigh will also be leading Thoresby at the Newark Brass Explosion on August 30th where they have been booked to open the festival at the historic Newark Castle.
