If there is a top section band wishing to try their luck at winning the biggest financial prize in the banding world then the Butlins Mineworkers Festival wants to hear from you — and soon.
Top section vacancy
4BR has been informed that a vacancy in the Championship Section line-up has occurred and that the contest organisers are hoping that it can be filled as soon as possible.
The 2016 contest will see the Championship contenders tackle Paul Lovatt-Cooper's 'Breath of Souls' as the set work as well as provide their own brand of entertainment programme if they are to get their hands on the £10,000 first prize.
Entry packs
Contest Administrator Brian Eggleshaw also informed 4BR that the Butlins Mineworkers Festival Entry Packs are being sent out to those bands currently entered on the data base for the event which takes place on the weekend of the 15th-18th January.
