The call has gone out to try and find former members of the Cheshire County Youth Brass Band and Cheshire Youth Brass Band to see if they can come back together for a re-union rehearsal and informal concert later this year.

Try and connect

Spokesperson Kevin Lomax told 4BR: "We are looking to try and connect up with as many former players as we can, as 2015 marks the 45th anniversary of the formation of the band.

Although the band no longer exists we are sure there are plenty of former players who would to get together one more time to enjoy making music together and recall many happy memories."

Time and place

The event will take place on September 5th at the Molloy Hall at Chester University, with a rehearsal followed by an informal concert. All ex-members are invited to come along to play or simply listen.
