The British Open Brass Band Championship has announced the list of percussion that will be available for bands to be used on stage at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on September 5th.
They have also informed competitors in writing that to assist with the quick and efficient changeover between bands, the timpani should not be moved from the original fixed position to the conductor's right, as they face the band.
