Hall door closes at Skelmanthorpe

The Skelmanthorpe Band announces the end of their 18 month tenure with MD Martin Hall.

The Skelmanthorpe Band has announced the resignation of Musical Director Martin Hall.

Martin (above) enjoyed a successful 18 months tenure with the Yorkshire band, claiming the 2014 Brass at the Guild Hall title and helping them to secure five podium finishes in highly competitive Championship Section contests.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The band and Martin have also produced some excellent concerts together, and this weekend will see our final event together.

We would like to thank Martin for his hard work and wish him all the success for the future.
