Last call for Scottish Gallery contenders

The last call has gone out to bands wishing to take part in this year's Scottish Open Championship in Perth in November.

The Scottish Brass Band Association (SBBA) has sent out a last call for bands who wish to compete at this year's Scottish Open Championship.

They have told 4BR that there are only a handful of spaces are still available for the event which takes place on November 28th at Perth Concert Hall (above).

Competing bands will perform a new commission from the pen of Howard Snell entitled 'Gallery', which links the composer's love for both music and painting.

The deadline for entries is July 20th.
