Coalburn make an eight player mark at NYBBS

Eight talented young players will represent the Coalburn Band at the summer course of the National Youth Band of Scotland this year.

The Coalburn Band has announced that no less than eight of it's promising young brass players will be joining this years National Youth Brass Band of Scotland summer course.

Anna Biggart, Beth Damer, Calum Blair, Calum Miller, Drew Gupwell, Emily Barclay, Euan Court and Jack Archibald will represent the Bronze, Intermediate and Silver Band ensembles.

We have subsidised the week and this has undoubtedly helped but are delighted with the progress of our youngsters and look forward to supporting them further as they continue with their musical educationCoalburn Band

February 17 • Boarshurst Silver Band, NW Championship Section, requires a BBb player, flugel, and front row cornet player. Under MD Jamie Prophet, the band have an ambitious and varied calendar for 2025, including NW Area, Spring Festival and Whit Friday.


Mid Rhondda Band
