The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators has announced two recent additions to their professional membership.
Highly respected
John Boax, is the highly experienced conductor and educator, who recently retired as a much respected music instructor for East Ayrshire Council in Scotland.
He led the Dunaskin Doon Band for eight highly successful years, leading them from the Third to Championship Section in the process, and is currently the resident conductor of the Whitburn Band, who he recently led to West Lothian and Land O' Burns titles.
A highly respected freelance conductor on both sides of the border, he also has enjoyed a thirty year association with the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland as a senior tutor.
Worldwide reputation
Professor Roger Webster has enjoyed a worldwide reputation as a performer, educator and clinician, leading academic research in his specialist areas of performance psychology and physiology.
He is a Senior Lecturer at the Royal Northern College of Music and is an ambassador for both Besson Musical Instruments and Denis Wick, as well as being actively involved in the development of new products.
