As part of this week's Create Salford Festival, Manchester Cathedral will host the European premiere of renowned composer Nancy Galbraith's, 'The Passion of St Matthew'.
Creative work
The performance on Thursday has been arranged by the University's Directorate of Music & Performance and will be directed by Thomas Octave.
It is set to be a major highlight of the annual event that showcases the best creative work from the University's School of Arts & Media students.
Student performers
'The Passion of St Matthew' will be performed by Salford students and staff, alongside students from the St Vincent's, Latrobe Music School and professional musicians.
