The Leyland Band has announced the signing of talented young Australian euphonium star Adam Bokaris as their new second euphonium.
Champion
The BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Awards finalist began playing at the age of 9, progressing to become principal euphonium with the Sydney based St Mary's Brass Band. He was awarded the title of Australian National Euphonium Champion in 2013.
Adam relocated to Manchester in September 2014 to study at the Royal Northern College of Music under David Thornton and Steven Mead. The first year undergraduate is being supported by a Buffet Besson Scholarship.
