Entry call for Miners' Welfare Entertainment

The call has gone out for bands wishing to enter the 2015 Miners' Welfare Entertainment Contest in South Wales.

Trophies

Entries are now being sought for the Miners' Welfare Entertainment Contest, which is due to be held at the wonderfully refurbished Newbridge Memorial Hall in South Wales on Saturday September 12th.

Superb trophy

Bands from all over the UK nationally graded from Sections Two, Three and Four will have to perform a 20 minute entertainment programme to catch the ear of the adjudicator if they are to get their hands on the superb South Wales Miners' Challenge Cup and the top prize of £600.

Prizes

With additional prizes for the podium finishers of £400 and £200, plus prizes for the highest placed Third, Fourth and Most Entertaining bands (each £200), and a number of individual awards, there is plenty to play for.
