Bodmin Town Band have been silenced — but only a little bit — by the welcome sponsorship donation of a new carpet for their bandroom in the town.

Band spokesperson Mark Quick told 4BR: "We have recently been very well supported by Carpet Right, a local outlet within the town, who kindly donated a new carpet for our rehearsal room at Narissa Hall to assist with the dampening of the sound following its refurbishment.

We would like to thank Carpet Right for their generosity and support for the band."

Next outing

The carpet comes at just the right time as the band prepares for the West of England Bandsmans Festival at Bugle next month.
