Northern Counties draw announced

The draw for the popular Northern Counties Entertainment contest which will take place in Kinross this weekend has been announced.

Britain's most northerly band association — the Northern Counties Brass Band Association, will hold its annual entertainment contest this weekend, Saturday 23rd May, at Loch Leven Community Campus, Kinross, Perthshire.

Plenty to enjoy

The NCBBA open contest features bands from across Scotland, and with fourteen entrants all providing a 20 minute entertainment programme, there should be plenty for the audience to enjoy throughout the day. Nigel Boddice MBE will be adjudicating.

Doors open at 9.30am with the first band taking the stage at 10.00am. Entry is priced at £5 & £3 (concessions), and results are anticipated to be announced around 4.45pm.
