Hafabra apology for Euro stream trickle

An apology has been issued by Hafabra Live Streaming following the problems they encountered in broadcasting from the European Championships in Freiburg.

Hall

Hafabra Live Stream has issued an official apology to customers who were left experiencing a frustratingly intermittent live streaming service from the European Championships in Freiburg last weekend.

Problems

Unlike the packed auditorium (above) who enjoyed the performances, due to technical problems and the high demand for the service costing €12.50, people experienced complete cut outs in the broadcasts — with the result that many at home missed out on bands in the set work and own choice sections of the Championship Section contest.

Statement

In a statement, Hafabra told 4BR: “Last weekend we had the honour to live-stream part of the European Championship (EBBC2015).

A lot of people did see the event by our live-stream, but unfortunately there were also people who couldn’t enjoy it because of technical problems at our website. We understand and share the disappointed about this. We sincerely apologise for all the inconvenience.”

Learned a lot

They added: “We learned a lot from the weekend and we can assure people that our service is going to be improved for the future. The technical problems were detected and were eventually solved, and it was clear that there is a great interest in broadcasting major brass band events.

We had viewers not only from Europe, but from all over the world and it’s really great to see our brass band culture so much alive worldwide.

This is a big motivation for us to improve and continue this service.

We apologise again, and if any person wished to contact us further, please e-mail at info@hafabralivestream.nl
