Newstead go green with new partnership

Newstead Brass enters into an innovative sponsorship partnership with renewable energy company.

Newstead

Newstead Brass has announced that they have secured a sponsorship deal with Mansfield based renewable energy company Eco-fuels Ltd.

The innovative link aims to further raise the profile of the band and maintain their development as one of the leading amateur music organisations in the Midlands region.

Local business

Eco-fuels is a local business involved in the renewable energy sector, providing fuel for use in wood burning (biomass) boilers, with Managing Director Mark Thomas telling 4BR that he has a particular interest in music and brass bands in particular.

“We are proud to announce our sponsorship of the local community based Newstead Brass. We were keen to support a local not for profit organisation involved in art and culture who share our ethos of working to the highest performance standards.

Newstead have won a number of awards for their exceptional playing, and we hope that our support will assist them to continue their success.”

Opportunity

He added: “We saw this as an opportunity to raise the profile of our renewable energy business and local championship status band within the local area, and help increase exposure for the band to a broader audience.”

The sponsorship deal will see Eco-fuels working with Newstead to develop brand awareness, including a new website and marketing materials, as well as supporting additional performance opportunities across the region.

Debut help

Eco-fuels have already arranged for the band to perform at the Portland College Spring Fair on Sunday 17th May — an event which raises funds to help provide support, education and training for people with disabilities.
