Geneva has announced the launch of the first addition to their new ‘Academy’ range of intermediate brass instruments.

Mentor

The ‘Mentor’ Bb cornet has been specifically designed to incorporate the essential requirements crucial on an instrument for developing players keen to take their musical capabilities to the next level — helped by Geneva’s renowned standards of craftsmanship.

It has been designed and built to assist in bridging the gap between the pro-level product and the existing intermediate/higher-end student level brass instrument ranges.

Same levels

The ‘Academy’ range is manufactured in the same factory, by the same instrument technicians and to the same traditional brass instrument methods and techniques as Geneva’s market leading professional level ‘Symphony’ series.

Those same uncompromising levels of craftsmanship are evident in the new ‘Academy’ series, with the cornet following the same lineage of Geneva instruments that produce a simply wonderful tonal quality and superb intonation characteristics.

Responsive

Responsive, flexible and easy to blow in all registers, the ‘Mentor’ also gives players both young and old an exceptionally comfortable instrument on which to perform.

September 9 • We are a friendly, hardworking North West 2nd Section band based in Saddleworth. Rehearsal nights are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8-10pm at Delph Band Club. We are currently looking to fill the following positions; Tutti Cornet, Percussion and Eb Bass.
