The annual Irvine & Dreghorn Band Slow Melody Contest will take place on Saturday 6th June.
The event takes place at Irvine’s Volunteer Rooms, with band members having to impress adjudicator, Richard Marshall.
In house contest
The ‘in house’ contest will form part of a full day of activity, and will be followed by a dinner, results and a concert featuring Richard as guest soloist with the senior Irvine & Dreghorn Band, who will be heading to the National Finals in Cheltenham, later in the year following their qualification at the Scottish Championship in Perth.
