The Shrewsbury Band recently held its first Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony, where the ‘Band Person of the Year’ went to the principal trombone player and Treasurer James Dale and the award for ‘Players Player of the Year’ going to percussionist George Arthur (pictured above with MD Steve Pritchard Jones).

Swiss signing

The band also announced that Michael Zinhlmann will join them during his 6 month work placement from Switzerland. Michael plays with a First Section band in his home country.
