4BR has been informed that bands are reminded that there are only a few places remaining at the forthcoming Weston-super-Mare ‘Own Choice’ contest.

The event takes place on Sunday 17th May at the Winter Gardens Pavilion, Weston-super-Mare, in contest a promotion by the South West Brass Band Association.

The closing date for entries is 11th April, with schedule and entry forms available from Contest Administrator, John Woods on 01934 750700 or wsmcontest@gmail.com or by downloading from www.southwestbrassbandassociation.co.uk

The contest comprises four sections, up to four borrowed players per band and on stage percussion provided by Ev-entz. It will be judged by Paul Holland and Steve Sykes.
