The Fairey Band is once again rolling out its Acid programme on the continent this weekend.
Rock and Coal
On Sunday the newly crowned North West Regional champion is performing as part of the ‘Rock and Coal’ festival at 9-9bis, Oignies in France — right in the very heart of the nation’s mining area and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Fairey will play Acid Brass at ‘The Metaphone’, which is now in its sixth year and sees fans and supporters from all over the world join in the music making provided by world class performers.
The French have a great taste for Acid Brass. Previously we have performed it in Paris outside The Louvre, and in August we will return there to take part in the ‘Festival Paris Quartier d’EteBand Manager Nigel Beasley
