Six members of the Tullis Russell Mills Band organisation will be guests of Her Majesty the Queen at a Royal Garden Party the Palace of Holyrood later this year.

The request came from the Lord-Lieutenant of Fife, and recognises the achievements of the organisation which includes a Youth, Intermediate and Senior band in its local community.

Enjoy the day

Two members of each band will enjoy the day, as a spokesperson told 4BR: “2014 was a historic year for our organisation and receiving this recognition brings our work to the attention of the general public. We can’t wait, and feel very honoured.”
