East Anglian entries open

Entry forms for the EABBA Spring Contest are now available — with a new format to attract the bands — and a concert finale by Leyland Band.

4BR has been informed that entry forms are now available for the East Anglian Brass Band Association’s Spring Contest on 10th May at St Andrew’s Hall Norwich.

New format

The entertainment format event will be in four sections: Championship (Championship/First Section), Class A (Second/Third Section), Class B (Fourth Section/Bands that don’t compete nationally) and a Youth Section.

The adjudication will be open with two adjudicators (one for musical performance and one for entertainment and stage presentation).

Registration will be an alphabetical list submitted no later than two weeks before the contest. The contest is open to member and non member bands.

The contest is followed by a concert commencing at 6.30pm by the Leyland Band.
