The adjudicators who will make the all important decisions at the forthcoming North of England Regional Championships have been announced.

Experienced duo

The experienced duo of Paul Cosh and Mike Kilroy will sit in judgement at the contest, held for the first time in the Gala Theatre, in the heart of the City of Durham.

It will be Paul’s first visit to judge at the North of England Championships, whilst Mike’s last appearance was in 2012.

Warm welcome

Regional Secretary, Tony Griffiths told 4BR: “We offer Paul and Mike a warm welcome to our contest. Interest in our event has been positive with many staying in Durham for the weekend.

This is a massive challenge for the Regional Committee as the home of the contest has been the Dolphin Centre in Darlington for some thirty years.”

Looking forward

He added: “We are however looking forward to moving to the Gala Theatre, the staff of which has been very accommodating in setting up the event. We trust that bands and audiences will support and enjoy the event in its new venue.”

All tickets will be available on the day and further details of booking arrangements and pricing will be announced in the next few weeks.
