Whiston set for hazy, lazy days of Summer

If you want to make sure you can look forward to a contest in the sun then make sure you book your place at the Whiston Festival of Brass...

With most the UK brass band community either recovering from, or waiting for, the first blasts of Winter to arrive on their doorsteps, the organisers of the Whiston Festival of Brass are looking forward to the hazy, lazy, crazy days of summer.

Fourth time

The popular festival event is to be held for a fourth time this year on Saturday July 4th, and Chairman Robert Brown is sure that it will prove to be as popular as ever, as he told 4BR:

“The event has grown in popularity over the last three years with its intoxicating mix of great music, family fun activities and plenty of wonderful beer. We offer so much for brass bands to enjoy, so why not make sure you book your place and enjoy a warm Summer welcome.”

Take part

Bands from all sections are welcome, so why not get your applications in early to ensure your opportunity to take part.
