Kevin Holdgate’s charity fund raising ‘Trombones against Breast Cancer’ initiative is looking to top the ton mark at Butlins Mineworker’s Championship in Skegness later this month.
With eight days to go, 75 trombone players have signed up to take part in the massed choir event.
100 mark
Music has been emailed out and all last minute preparations have been put in place, but Kevin still wants to top things off that magic 100 player mark.
He told 4BR: “I’ve been overwhelmed by the response to the appeal. It’s fantastic to see so many players, who are not taking part in the contest, who are willing to just come along to Butlins specifically to take part. My thoughts now are — Can we get 100 players?”

Confident
Kevin is confident that he will reach the milestone, but is still asking for players to contact him.
