New home for the new year for Long Eaton

The Long Eaton Silver Prize Band will enjoy the comforts of a new home in 2015.

Long Eaton Band

The Long Eaton Silver Prize Band has found a new home following the closure of its old rehearsal facilities at the band club that bore its name for 85 years.

Thankfully

MD, Sharon Stansfield, told 4BR: “Thankfully, local man and ex player Peter Dawson came to the rescue at very short notice and offered the band premises in Sandiacre.

Whilst we are sad the band has lost its spiritual home we are delighted that a new and exciting chapter has opened instead.”

Sharon added that the new premises are based at Derby Road Trade Centre in Sandiacre, and everyone associated with the band is looking forward to making it a great new home.
