4BR has been informed that the funeral service for the late Bob Archer will now take place at 11.30am on Thursday 15th January at St Luke's Church in Grimethorpe, followed by a service at Ardsley Crematorium in Barnsley.
The family have asked that those wishing to attend should be at St Luke’s between 11.00am and 11.15am.
Baritone
Bob Archer was the former baritone player of Grimethorpe Colliery and Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Bands. He passed away on New Year’s Eve shortly before midnight, after battling illness for the last few years.
