Silkstone catch Fisher

Sam Fisher will lead Old Silkstone Band at the Yorkshire Area contest in March.

Old Silkstone Band has announced that Sam Fisher has agreed to lead them to the 2015 Yorkshire Regional contest in Bradford in March.

A spokesperson told 4BR: “The talented brass tutor and music teacher from the Wakefield area, has a wealth of experience both as a player with bands such as Brighouse & Rastrick, Carlton Main Frickley and Grimethorpe Colliery, and also as MD of the West Yorkshire Police Band."

He obviously enjoyed working with us, and was very happy to offer his services in preparing and leading the band to Bradford in MarchOld Silkstone Band
