There are still a few places up for grabs for bands wishing to compete at the Welsh Open Entertainment Championship contest to be held at The Pavilion, Porthcawl on February 21st.

Curtain raiser

The 20 minute entertainment contest, supported by CISWO, is open to bands graded Championship and First Section, and since 1998 has provided a well supported curtain raiser for the Welsh banding season.

Bands will compete to get their hands on the magnificent CISWO Challenge Trophy, as well as a first prize of £1,000, with a generous prize pot for podium finishers, highest placed First Section Band and ‘Most Entertaining’ Band, as well as number of individual awards.
