Report & Results: 2014 GBBA Contest

There was a fine day of contest music making to enjoy at the Gloucestershire Brass Band Association test piece and march contest, where the in-form AW Parker (Drybrook) Band led the way under MD Josh Ruck.

High quality

There was plenty of high quality music to enjoy in all the sections with some wonderful performances in the Youth Training & Registered event, where the contest attracted bands from as far as Stockport and Poynton.

Pillowell took the test piece and march honours in the Fourth Section contest.
