4BR has teamed up with Yamaha for a special Brass in Concert quiz prize this year — as long as you can answer one Neo related question.
Great prize
We have two tickets for the World of Brass in Concert Gala Concert on Saturday night at The Sage in Gateshead, plus two tickets for the contest on the Sunday, plus £100 in spending money to give to our lucky winner.
You won’t want to miss out on this prize, with a fantastic concert in store with Grimethorpe and Cory as the featured bands and Chad Shoopman as soloist, whilst the following day there is simply music from dawn till dusk as 12 of the best bands in the world lock horns to entertain you.
Great response
Last week’s quiz tested quite a few minds — with the name that links a brass band conducting giant of the late 19th century, a First World War poet killed in action on November 4th 1918, and a former Liverpool footballer who scored 118 goals in 216 appearances for the Anfield club, being – Owen- as in Alex, Wilfred and Michael.
Well done to Ian Jackson who lives in Stoke, who was first out of the hat to win the trio of 2014 European Championships, 2015 Regional Championships and Eikanger’s music of John Pickard CDs.
