4BR will be in Wychavon, Sandbach and Utrecht this weekend bringing you the action and reports from three significant brass band events.

4BR will be covering three significant brass band competitions on the weekend.

Dutch

The Dutch National Championships take place in Utrecht, where 44 bands battle for honours in five sections at the brand new Tivoli Vredenburg — the host venue for the 2018 European Championships.

4BR will be providing live coverage of the event on the Friday and Saturday — with an emphasis on the Championship Section, where defending champion Brass Band Schoonhoven will be looking to claim a fifth consecutive victory against a strong field of rivals all hoping to book their place in Freiburg in 2015.

Wychavon

Meanwhile, there is a fine line up of bands taking part in the popular Wychavon Festival of Brass in Evesham, where 4BR will be following the action and using Twitter to update everyone on the performances.

Finally, the Foden’s Solo & Quartet and Ensemble Contest takes place in Sandbach, where 4BR will also be on hand to report on the many highlights throughout the day.
