The highly respected Oxfordshire based conductor Terry Brotherhood is notching up 60 years of brass banding next month.
And to ensure that the occasion is celebrated in style, anyone who wishes to join him for a party on Saturday 15th November is more than welcome.
Morris Motors
It just so happens that this date is 50 years to the day since Terry moved to Oxford to join the famous Morris Motors Band under Harry Mortimer — and a date which has since seen him go on successfully to take up the baton with the likes of several bands; including Kidlington, Stonesfield, Luton, Chalgrove, and most recently, his current band, Oxford Cherwell Brass.
The celebrations start at 6.00pm at the Jolly Boatman pub just north of Kidlington (Oxford), with a buffet available.
