The Bolton (Hoover) Band has helped St Thomas of Canterbury Church raise over £500 for their chosen charity of the year, Water Aid.
Appreciative
The band, conducted by new MD, Craig Mann, played to a large and appreciative audience in a programme that included Wilfred Heaton's ‘Praise’, Goff Richard's ‘James Bond Collection’ and Dan Price's new work, ‘Starburst’.
Important
MD, Craig Mann, told 4BR: "Raising money for charity is an important part of the band's ethos, and we were only too happy to offer our help to such a great cause.
The band was outstanding on the night and the fact that we raised such a fantastic sum of money made it ten times better."

More
The band is already looking into more joint ventures at the church, in the hope that the event can be repeated on a regular basis.
